Hello, my name is Chantal Mcfeely and I help raise awareness and reduce the stigma of those struggling with their mental health.
I am a teacher of the deaf and love being able to help my student find their voice and be heard and after losing one of my pupils in a freak camping accident 3 years ago, I decided to train as a life coach to help others struggling to find their voice and be heard. Then I lost my soulmate in 2020 because of struggling with mental health and that lead me to start a weekly vlog, where I use my skills as a life coach to help others find ways to deal with life. I had a little guidance from my angels and the title of my private FB group is "So out of the Blue" and my weekly vlog is called " Chatty Tuesday" weekly inspiration for the Soul.
After losing Robin, I have dedicated most of my time to raising awareness to reduce the stigma of people struggling with their mental health, through my journey I was approached my Smile Radio and asked if I would like to be one of their presenters. I accepted and used my time with Smile radio to raise awareness and help others struggling with their mental health through creating my mental health interviews.
A chance encounter at work led me to The Bothy Cafe, River Garden. As I entered for the first time I felt deep in my heart that Robin would have had an opportunity to thrive here and overcome his addiction. I decided to create my 10 part 'Voices of River Garden ' interviews and upon completion of this series I was approached to be Volunteer Co-ordinator at River Garden, which I accepted in January 2023.
